Friday Night Ragnarok - Royal Rumble



Gather your members and prove that you are worthy to be called as Royal Rumble Ultimate Champion.

  • Use your main RO boards account in registering your party; All BOGUS and SPAMMER accounts will not be entertained.
  • Registration will start on November 15, 2011 12PM to 7PM.
  • Guild Leaders should be online on the following day for the trading of the requirements. The GM assigned will summon you on November 16, 2011 from the opening of the servers until 6PM. Failure to complete the requirements will forfeit your entry in this event.
  • Schedule of matches will be posted on November 16, 2011 7PM. Link will be available on Nov 16.
  • On the event day, GM’s will summon all party scheduled for the match in Guild arena.
  • There will be 4 teams to battle per match.
  • Each team’s goal is to defeat the other teams. Party with the most number of player wins.
  • Only 20 slots are available per server.

MATCH RULES
  • The event will be a 7 vs 7 team match
  • Guild Leader should check whether his party members are all in the guild and party. Player who isn’t in the party will be summoned outside the arena. If found after the match ends, the team will lose the match.
  • This is a SINGLE ELIMINATION match.
  • If the round ends with teams having the same number of surviving teams, the first team who lost a team member will lose the match.
  • Start of the match will be signaled by the assigned GM. Players may start casting buffs the moment they enter the arena. A countdown will be given before the match is started.
  • Use of other skills is restricted until the Assigned GM give their GO signal. Offending players WILL NOT BE GIVEN A WARNING. The GM will automatically kick you out of the arena.
  • Each match will last 7 minutes.
  • Use party or guild chat all the time in communicating to your team. GMs are not responsible for any player who got “silenced” due to excessive chat.
  • No item restriction and character level restriction.
  • NO repeating of classes.
  • Lag and disconnection will not stop the match. Once the game has already started, disconnection of players from the servers, regardless of their number, will not stop the match. If a team abnormally logged off while the game is ongoing, the team forfeits the match. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PLAYERS TO ENSURE THAT THEIR CONNECTIONS, HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE ARE ALL WORKING IN GOOD CONDITION.

A Ranger is the Hunter's 3rd job. Rangers are given a huge wolf-like mount called a Warg that they can also use to attack their enemies. They also have new and powerful traps at their disposal, from cluster bombs, electric shockers, to traps that can change an opponent's elemental property when triggered. While a hunter goes to hunt, a Ranger goes to war.

Overview


AoE Magic
Unlike their predecessors, sorcerers have the ability to do area of effect damage. Psychic Wave will be your most used area spell due to its major damage, large AoE, and and neutral element (you can "endow" your psychic wave via summons).

  • Diamond Dust (Ice element) has an average AoE, damage, and cast time.
  • Earth Grave (Earth element) has an average AoE, lower damage, and a quick cast time (has the ability to knock units out of hide/cloak).
  • Varetyr Spear (Wind element) has a smaller AoE, average damage, quick cast time, and has a short cast range (damage is effected by atk / matk and requires a target unit).

The 3 elemental spells are heavly based on the level of their corresponding endow.

  • Killing Cloud (Poison element) has an average AoE, damage, and cast time (requires 2x red gemstones and hits multiple times).
Summons
Sorcerers have the ability to summon elementals that have very powerful abilities to help the summoner. There are 3 levels for each element, each having a different summoning requirement (catalyst). A summons stats are directly based on that of the sorcerer (ie A high agi / flee sorcerer will create a summon with high flee). Summons each have the ability to change the element of Physic Wave, change the Sorcerers Elemental Resistance (100% resist of that element), and boost certain elemental spell's damage. On top of that, each element has a speciality.

  • Fire - Used mostly for its abilty to boost the Atk of the sorcerer and increase the recovery amount of Warmer (+10%).
  • Water - Used mostly for its ability to boost the Matk of the sorcerer.
  • Wind - Used mostly for its abilty to boost ASPD, reduce total, cast time and create a defensive barrier.
  • Earth - No decent speciality.
Insignias
At first, insignias can be a little confusing and hard to use, but they can be extremely powerful. Insignias require a bit of setup and coordination and also have high skill requirements.
  • Insignias can be created of the 4 basic elements.
  • Only one of each insignia can be placed at a time (insignias do not share the same cooldown).
  • Insignias are 3x3 ground enchants.
  • Each cast cost 1/2/3 Point (depending on level used), which can be bought in geffen tower (200z ea).
  • Points are Etc item, each having a different element corresponding to that insignia (Scarlet Point/Indigo Point/Lime Green Point/Yellow Wish Point).
  • Each insignia has the ability to boost the counter element no matter which level you use.

For example, if you use Fire Insignia Level 1/2/3, any unit INSIDE the insignias 3x3 AoE will take +50% damage to water elemental attacks.
Each insignia has 3 levels.
  • Level 1 - Boosts the ability of that corresponding elemental summon.
  • Level 2 - Changes weapons element to the insignias element.

Any unit, friend, or monster that stands INSIDE the insignias 3x3 AoE attack will change. For example, if you are wearing fire armor, and a monster hits you while THEY are standing in the insignia, you will take reduced damage (Fire attack vs Fire Armor - 1/4 damage taken). If you have 100% immunity to that element, you will take 1 damage.
  • Level 3 - Increases that players elements magic damage when THEY are standing inside the insignia and additional bonuses to that element (faster cast time, more matk, etc).


Additional Examples
  • Your tank comes back with a few more monsters than he is able to handle.
If you know what armor they are using, placing a level 2 insignia on top of the monsters will reduce the damage they take by 1/4.
  • Precasting magic while standing in level 3 insignias.
  • A tank, with 100% fire resistance, tanking an MVP.
Fire insignia level 2 on the MVP will reduces its damage considerably and increase all incomming water attacks by +50%. Put a Water Insignia 3 on your casters to give them a boost to their water magic damage.

Overview

Royal Guards are an elite order of Crusaders and Paladins that originally served under King Schmidtz of Glast Heim. King Schmidtz knew that to defend his kingdom from the terrors and chaos of the world he would need a special defense unit that answered only to him. That is how the Griffon-riding Royal Guards came to be.

At a glance, this class has relatively good HP pool and an excellent SP pool, when compared to their class counterpart. Unlike Rune Knights, which are typically forced into Dragon Breath types of builds, the Royal Guard has the option of playing with builds that involve Banding two or more Royal Guards together; a Royal Guard can play Defense or Offense very effectively, given proper foresight of his/her skill tree. In addition to gaining new and powerful offensive skills, the Royal Guard can easily draw upon its older skills, such as Guard, Spear Quicken, Sacrifice, and Rapid Smiting. This makes for one very powerful, vastly dynamic, and exciting class.

Rise of Wise King

Step 1
Description
head over to prontera and speak with the Eden Teleport Officer. Tell her you wish to move to the Eden Group Secret Base and she'll teleport you there.
Step 2
Description
Once teleported, look for the cat paw Agent and speak with him.

Ask him why shouldn't they just collect the items themselves, then offer to help the merchants.

When prompted, type your character name. Pay 50,000 zenny and he will teleport you to Ash Vaccum.
Step 3
Description
Once at Ash Vaccum, look for a tiny cat to the far right of the map.

Choose "Let's do this!" and climb on the little cat's back to reach the secret tunnel.
Step 4
Description
Once on the other side, speak with the Cat Paw Agent.

Choose "To th eother world!" and he will teleport you to midcamp.

1. Talk to Botanist Karmen at Brasilis 203 286 and listen to what she will say. She will inform the player that if you are interested in water lilies, you may talk to Wiser Marta.

2. Talk to Wiser Marta located at the Brasilis Inn, 142 27 and listen to her story about the mysterious water lilly. After listening to Wiser Marta’s story, go outside of the hotel and talk to a Brasilis Girl.


3. Ask the Brasilis girl about her problem and offer her your help. Listen to her story: Jasira/Brasilis Girl will tell you that she is waiting for Jasi, who is currently in the jungle and protecting the water lilies of Brasilis. She will ask you to give 10 Bananas to Jasi.

4. Go to Jasi (Recluse in cave) located at Brasilis Dungeon, 2nd Level, at 67 205, and ask him if he is the moon. Jasi will tell you the history of his family as the protectors of Brasilis’ water lilies. Offer Jasi the 10 Bananas and he will let you wander around the water lilies


5. Pluck a water lily (Brasilis Dungeon 2nd Level 71,200). Jasi will stop you from the attempt and ask you to bring a hard and big berry to trade for a water lily.

6. Go back to Jasira and ask her what kind of fruit Jasi is talking about. Jasira will tell you that it is a Coconut, which you can buy from the Fruit Vendor.

7. Bring 5 coconuts to Jasi, and he will let you take 1 water lily. At last!

8. Give the Water lily to Jasira and she will reward you a Lotus Flower Hat with a card compounded on it. There is a random chance that you may get a Leaf Cat Card, a Dryad Card, or a Leib Olmai Card compounded on the Hat.

9. Tell Botanist Karmen the story about the Water Lily of Brasilis and she will reward you with EXP. Cool!

Secret Orders OF Doha

Step 1
Description
After speaking with Vyhannus (To El Dicastes Quest), head for the nearby room and speak with Inspector Doha before journeying to Manuk to speak with Guard Captain Avalanche.

Doha wants you to investigate someone suspected of stealing a report, and wants you to collect evidence once you get to El Dicastes (Finish To El Dicastes Quest).
Step 2
Description
Once you've completed the To El Dicastes Quest, head back to El Dicastes 137 107, and enter the building.

Enter the the building and take the elevator down to Pub Burman Flone, and speak with the bartender Shay.

Choose Talk. Aska bout other races, and about Cat Ears. Shay suggest you investigate by talking to the various saphas found in the factories, town square and training halls.
Step 3
Description
Head back out and search for the Walking Knit (dicastes01 207 210) and speak with him.
Step 3

Look for the Resting Piom (dicastes01 112 248) and speak with him.
Step 4
Description
Find and speak with the Training Galten (dicastes01 249 140).
Step 5
Description

After gathering all 3 clues, go back and speak with Shay.

Shay then suggests you go and speak with a contactof his named B.K.
Step 6

Find and speak with B.K. (dic_fild01 231 174)
Step 7
Description
Find and speak with B.K. (dic_fild01 231 174)

When asked, type in: 'Shay's special drink will be delivered'

B.K offers to give you information in exchange for an "Exploit Certification of Sapha"

You can get the certificates by completing the any of the different El Dicastes daily quests.
Step 7
Description
Once you've acquired 3x "Exploit Certification of Sapha", hand them over to B.K. in exhange for information.

After you've gotten enough information out of B.K. return to Shay and speak with him.

Shay will suggest that you go investigate the "cracks" found at Dicastes Field.
Step 7
Description
Head over to Dicastes Field (dic_fild02) and search for Dirt Pile, rock Pile and Split Earth,

Keep investigating these different spots that appear all over the map until you acquire any of the ff:

Clotted Bloodstain
Piece of Frozen Skin
Strange Magic Stone

Once you get any of the 3, return to Dicastes and speak with Shay.
Step 8
Description
Realizing that something is off, Shay suggests that you meet Ahat himself. And to do so, you'll need 3 more "Exploit Certification of Sapha".

Once you've done enough Daily Quests to receive 3 more certificates. Head for the main building far north of the city (To El Dicastes Quest) and speak with the Adventurer Clerk.

Choose Talk, and tell him you wish to speak to Ahat.

After you turn over the 3 certificates, head over to the Elevator and go to the Administrative Offices. Look for the Diel Guard on the upper right and speak with him.
Step 9
Description
Once the Diel Guard let's you in, head to the upper right and speak to the other Diel Guard.
Step 10
Description
After the guard let's you in, speak with Minister Ahat to learn the hidden truth lurking behind El Dicastes.

After learning the truth, pretend to be under Ahat's control.

Speak with Cheshire. You will then be instructed to return to Dicastes field and erase traces of Ahat's arrival.
Step 11
Description
Head back into Dicastes Field and search for the various Dirt Pile, Rock Pile, and Split Earth.

Once you've gathered 10x Clotted Bloodstain, 10x Piece of Frozen Skin, or 10x Strange Magic Stone, return to Cheshire.

After you've given the Items to Cheshire, speak with Ahat.
Step 12
Description

For your services, Ahat gives you a Bradium Brooch.

After receiving the Brooch, leave the room, and take the elevator and head back to the main lobby.
Step 13
Description
On your way out, you will be called by Jarute HesLanta. Speak with him.

Keep speaking with Jarute until you learn everything about Ahat and Cheshire.

Once you've learned everything there is about the mystery, head back to Mid Camp and report to Doha.

Remember to bring at least 1 of each to Doha: Clotted Bloodstain, Piece of Frozen Skin, and Strange Magic Stone.

Description

After reporting to Doha about the mysteryious happenings behind El Dicastes he will reward you with a Dragon Manteau.
